Studio Resource Planner

The main purpose of this position is to co-ordinate studio services for client projects. This position reports to the Business Manager.   

As our Studio Resource Planner, you will:

· manage traffic and day-to-day studio production requirements
· manage and prioritize workload for all studio staff and freelance employees
· generate purchase orders for all freelancer invoices
· input timesheets for all freelance employees and assist with preparing reports for pre-sales
· assign production dockets based on time required, skill sets and productivity
· alert Business Manager of possible performance issues related to time required to complete work or skill-set opportunities
· collect dockets on completion of work and ensure dockets are updated and returned
· manage day-to-day naming and filing conventions on internal project server to ensure process compliance
· assist in mock ups as required
· control supply management, inventory and ordering
· manage copier calibrations and tech support
· generate colour copier usage report
· manage the file saving and archiving process of the project server
· follow process as defined by our Marcomm process map


As our Studio Resource Planner, you have:

· Knowledge of the graphic arts industry-standard production practices
· Excellent communication and organization skills
· A strong team player attitude
· The ability to multi-task effectively and work through critical timelines
· The ability to work well with many different personalities
· A degree or diploma in communications field/or relevant business experience
· Familiarity with current industry file production methods
· Great attention to detail
· Working knowledge of basic Mac Adobe C23
· Oracle proficiency (nice to have)
